• Backing Boards: UV-Stabilised commercial grade acrylic (2mm) for robust protection.

• Mounting Bars: Solid brass bars with proprietary pin design for larger sets. I also offer superior-grade stud pin attachments sourced from the USA for additional flexibility.

• Threads: Commercial upholstery threads, including transparent thread, for secure stitching.

• Double-Sided Tape: Acid-free, conservation-grade tape used to prevent chemical reactions from ribbon dyes.

• Ribbon Stock: Sourced from Toye Kenning & Spencer, UK manufacturers to the crown since 1685.

Craftsmanship

Foxhole provides heirloom-quality replica medals and expert mounting services in accordance with official order of wear regulations. 

Foxhole's medals are primarily die-struck or injection-moulded for superior quality, and I use the finest ribbons, including those from Toye Kenning & Spencer, holders of a Royal Warrant. 

My court-mounted medals feature durable acrylic backing, showcasing craftsmanship without felt or velvet overlays. 

Foxhole ensures your medals are professionally displayed. I don't use glues or harsh adhesives, and always hand stitch any items that are meant to be, like clasps & bars.
