How do I add a new ribbon bar or modify my existing one?Updated 7 months ago

If you need to add a new ribbon bar or make changes to your existing one, we’re here to assist you every step of the way. Here's how you can proceed:

Step 1: Gather Your Requirements

  • Ribbon/s: Determine the specific ribbons you need to add or modify, including any special awards or honours (e.g., Order of Australia, Defence Long Service Medal, Commendations for Brave Conduct).
  • Bar Configuration: Your ribbon bar configuration might vary based on your service branch and gender identity. For example, Navy members can choose between a 1 ribbon over 4 ribbon or a 2 ribbon over 3 ribbon layout. Army members typically wear a 1 ribbon over 4 ribbon configuration, unless they identify as female, in which case different guidelines may apply.
  • Order of Wear: We will ensure that the ribbons are arranged in the correct order of precedence according to official guidelines.
  • Special Requirements: If you need any specific features like magnet backing, plastic coating (for eligible personnel), or rosettes/devices, please let us know.

Step 2: Provide Visuals for Accuracy

To ensure we get everything just right:

  • Attach a Photo: Send us a clear photo of your current ribbon bar set (or medal group if you don't have ribbon bars), showing both the front and back if possible. This helps us accurately assess your needs and determine if any savings can be made by repurposing parts of your existing bar (like rosettes).

Step 3: Receive a Quote or Place an Order

  • Precise Pricing: Based on the details you provide, we’ll prepare a precise quote for your new or modified ribbon bar, including any applicable savings.
  • Place an Order: If you don't need help and you're ready to order your ribbon bars, you can do so HERE. Please note that the product photos are generic due to the many possible configurations. You'll have the opportunity to specify all the ribbons you need on your bar before completing the checkout process.
  • Send us your medals/ribbons: Use this Postal Order Form to send your medals and ribbons to us for addition or adjustments. The form lists the PO Box address, but the best address is our warehouse:

Step 4: Proceed with the Order

  • Finalising Payment: Once you’re happy with the quote, follow the provided instructions in the order we'll send you to make the payment.
  • Send us your medals: Use this Postal Order Form to send your medals to us. The form lists the PO Box address, but the best address is our warehouse:

  • Production and Delivery: After payment is confirmed, we'll promptly communicate the details to our production team, who will begin crafting your ribbon bar. You can expect to receive your completed order within our standard production and shipping times (usually within 10 business days).
