The choice between swing-mount and court-mount depends on your preferences and needs:

• Swing-Mount: Allows the medals to swing freely, providing an unobstructed view of both sides but making them prone to damage.
• Court-Mount: Medals are sewn to a backing, reducing movement and noise, and meeting official dress standards for serving members*.

Consider factors like the number of medals and whether you want to display the engraving when deciding.

*Serving members are permitted to wear one medal swing mounted as issued, however when two or more medals are worn they must be court mounted to Defence dress standards.
