At Foxhole Medals, we use the highest quality materials to ensure your medals are mounted securely, professionally, and with lasting durability.

Materials We Use:

• Backing Boards: UV-Stabilised commercial grade acrylic (2mm) for robust protection.

• Mounting Bars: Solid brass bars with our proprietary pin design for larger sets. We also offer superior-grade stud pin attachments sourced from the USA for additional flexibility.

• Threads: Commercial upholstery threads, including transparent thread, for secure stitching.

• Double-Sided Tape: Acid-free, conservation-grade tape used to prevent chemical reactions from ribbon dyes.

• Ribbon Stock: Sourced from Toye Kenning & Spencer, UK manufacturers to the crown since 1685.

Craftsmanship

Our expert mounters, with over 40 years of experience, ensure your medals are professionally displayed. We don't use glues or harsh adhesives, and always hand stitch any items that are meant to be, like clasps & bars.
