All Foxhole medal mounting is handmade to order — I don’t keep pre-mounted medals in stock.
Getting started with me is simple. Whether you’re trusting me to restore original medals, add new awards, or create a full replica set, I’ll walk you through exactly what to do first.
This guide explains how to request a quote, what to include when sending medals, and how I manage pricing and turnaround—everything you need for a clear, stress-free process.
REQUEST A QUOTE
If you’re ordering for the first time or updating an existing set, start by requesting a quote. Include clear photos of your medals (front and back), notes about what you’d like done, and any ribbons, clasps, rosettes, or new awards to be added. This helps me prepare an accurate quote and plan the work properly.
SEND YOUR MEDALS SAFELY
Once I’ve confirmed your quote, I’ll email postage instructions. Wrap each medal in soft tissue or bubble wrap, separate layers with cardboard to prevent rubbing, and include your name and quote reference in the parcel so I can match it on arrival.
APPROVE AND TRACK
After you’ve accepted the quote, I’ll confirm your estimated turnaround window. Every order is handcrafted and made to order, so timing can vary with complexity. I’ll email when your medals arrive safely, when I start your job, and when it’s ready to ship.
COMMUNICATION + RUSH ORDERS
I manage every quote, email, and order personally. My first priority is the medals already on the bench, so I reply to new enquiries as soon as I can between jobs. The current estimated completion and shipping timeframe is always displayed at the top of my website - I update it regularly to reflect my real workload.
I do my best to help with urgent or time-sensitive requests, especially for returning customers and confirmed ceremonies. Where I can accommodate a rush, an express fee may apply to cover the additional time outside my standard workflow. Rush work isn’t something I encourage; I’d rather take the time to do it properly than send something that’s not up to Foxhole standards.
